Fill in the Blank Friday

1. One of life's most simple pleasures is a quiet night in.
2. People that give me unsolicited pregnancy/parenting advice makes me want to punch someone.

3. I like my doggie because he is so sweet.

4.   Penis is a funny word. I'm very immature.

5. If I had to choose one beauty product to use for the rest of eternity it would be umm...lotion? I don't know.

6. I'm happy that my boss lady did a good job on GMA this morning!

7. I would never say never? Isn't that Justin Beiber's motto? ha

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

Linking up with Carissa today.

-My boss lady is making me work from home. She doesn't want me having this baby on the highway between Broken Arrow and Pawhuska...or on the ranch.

-I should be feeling very lucky that she is having me work from home and that I don't have to drive....but I'm so bored already.

-I am loooving this mascara
They're Real! Mascara

-I love this foundation

No Foundation Foundation
Perricone MD . I don't wear much makeup, so I heart this stuff. Light AND it matches your skin tone. No matter what. or something like that.

-Something is going on with Norman. We're not sure if he's acting funny because he knows the baby is coming soon. OR because one of our stupid smoke detectors needed the battery changed. It kept beeping yesterday. I finally got a battery for it today. Nate didn't want me changing it, but I only had to get on a tiny step stool...so I did it anyway.

Norman has never been the type to just sit outside, but he was out there for a few hours yesterday and a few hours today.

He just lays there and stares at me.

36 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 36 weeks, 4 days (9 months)
Size of baby: Baby is around the size of a watermelon (19-22 inches, 6.5lbs)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: up 23 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: most everything
Gender: 100% girl
Movement: lots and lots and lots. The movement is getting lower and lower.
Sleep: it's very broken. I woke up at 2:30 this morning and was up until 4. When I get up at 6, I'm not even tired. I guess my body is preparing for baby!
What I miss: running for long periods of time/working out hardcore, beer, and sushi.
Cravings: nothing. I'm so boring!
Symptoms: My lower back hurts on occasions. I went to the doctor last week and was checked...nothing goin on down there. Then she told me how perfect everything has been for me (yay!) She wanted to make sure the baby was head down, so she did another ultrasound. Baby is head down. I asked if she could check the sex for me again and she said 100% girl! It was so cool seeing her on the ultrasound this time, she looked like a real baby. Before she looked more like an alien, but this time she looked like a super cute baby.

I told Nate this morning that waiting for the impending birth is like waiting for Christmas. He said, "Christmas for the next 18 years." We decided this was going to be a very expensive holiday :):):)

There it is...full on. Hope you weren't eating breakfast or anything.

When Irish Eyes are Smiling

When Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, 'tis like the morn in Spring.
In the lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing.
When Irish hearts are happy,
All the world seems bright and gay.
And when Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, they steal your heart away

Today, my Irish eyes are smiling because:

-The weather has been so much nicer. I can actually go outside in the afternoons as opposed to sitting inside with the blinds closed, avoiding all contact with the outside world because it is 115 degrees outside.

-Our baby should be here in the next month. I'm hoping less than a month, I don't want to go over my due date...but she'll get here when she's good and ready.

-We got confirmation last week that our baby is 100% girl!

-Nate Dawg has been golfing a lot. And, he's been playing awesome! Golf=happiness for Nate Dawg.

-This guy is adorable and decided to try to fit on a tiny bath mat.

-I'm trying to watch as many movies as I can in the theatre before Baby B shows up. Saturday we watched 30 Minute or Less.

Sunday I met my friend Tara to watch The Change Up.

Today I'm meeting my mom to watch The Help.

SO excited for this movie because I looooved the book.

Those are the reasons my Irish eyes are smiling :)

Fill in the Blank Friday

1. My go to outfit for a dress-up occasion like a wedding is  prior to pregnancy, it was a cute little black dress that I found on sale at Dillards years ago. Now...I have no idea what I would wear.
2. This week has been stressful. Both brothers have been in town. One got married, so we had a reception the other night. The other stayed with us Tuesday night and will stay again tonight. It's so hot outside and I'm just tired. (waaaaaaaaa waaaaaaa waaaaaaa)

3. When it's dinnertime and I'm feeling lazy I'll usually eat  cereal. Or these Philly cheese steak sandwiches from Sam's that I keep in the freezer.

4. My favorite pair of shoes is I have a cheap pair of wedges that I got like 5 years ago. They are so comfy.

5. A random item that I own that is completely unnecessary, but that I could never part with is we have a few Waterford Crystal pieces that Nate's grandmother gave us. The wine decanter has never had wine in it. I do put candy in the candy dish.

6. My favorite person is Nate Dawg, of course. My favorite DOG is Norman. :)
7. If I were going to write my own blank it would say hmm....mine would probably be  lots of apologies because I couldn't think of what to write. ha

Go to Lauren's blog and play along!

34 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 34 weeks, 5 days (8 1/2 months)
Size of baby: Baby is around the size of a large cantaloupe(19-22 inches, 5.5lbs)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: up 22 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: most everything
Gender: girl
Movement: lots and lots and lots. The movement is getting lower and lower.
Sleep: this week has been tough. Not sleeping as much as I would like. There's just been a ton going on with both of my brothers in town.
What I miss: running for long periods of time/working out hardcore, beer, and sushi.
Cravings: air conditioning and cooler weather. :)
Symptoms: I'm tired. And I'm getting bigger. I'm just kind of ready for her to be here.

I don't feel like taking a picture, so here's one from last night. That's my Aunt Connie, big brother Joe Clay, and me laughing for whatever reason. You can clearly see that I swallowed a basketball.

So What Wednesday

This week I’m saying SO WHAT! if…

-When people ask me how far along I am, I say "one million months".

-I don't go outside. I mean, the high is 113 today. That's stupid. Come on now, I'm one million months pregnant...nothing outside is good for me.

-We set up the pack and play the other day. Norman pouted for a good long time. His world is about to be rocked. I feel bad for him :(

-Yes, I know my dog is a dog. But he's precious.

-I don't ever feel like blogging.

-I got up to pee at 5:15 this morning, so I thought it would be a good idea to just stay up. That was dumb.

-Babies are expensive. I'm not talking about all the stuff they come with. I'm talking about prenatal care and delivery costs.

-I'm not really sure what happened to the months of June and July. And May for that matter. I seriously don't remember what happened during those months.

-I don't like filling my car up with gas. It takes too long.

-I don't understand why people use "da" in place of "the". For example, "Going to da park." I don't get it. It just ain't right. :)

What are you saying SO WHAT! to this week?
