SO WHAT! Wednesday

This week I'm saying SO WHAT if...
So What Wednesday

-I haven't blogged in over a year. Whoopsie Daisy. I've started posts, then Maggie woke up from a nap or something and I never post.

-Maggie has yet to adjust to the time change. So it's 8:15 and she's still in bed asleep. Yesterday she slept until 9:30. It kind of rulz.

-I'm pregnant! Due September 14. Maggie's 2nd birthday is September 16. So there's a chance they will have the same birthday. Oops, my bad.

-On that note, I've been eating an unhealthy amount of Taco Bueno. It's just, so, bueno. Muchacos and mexidip, need I say more?

-I gave up sweets for Lent and had a breakdown yesterday. I had several handfulls of Cadbury mini eggs. They are my kryptonite.

What are you saying SO WHAT! to this week?

You still there?

I haven't blogged in a while. Oops, my bad!

Lots of stuff going on.

-I got a new car. Well, a new used car. I had a 2010 Escape, and traded it for a 2008 Explorer. Next up: Mom van.

-A year ago yesterday we found out I was pregnant. Here's a pic of Mags yesterday:

Let's just assume she was so happy that a year ago we found out she would be in our lives!

-She's also slobbering like a maniac.

-Here's a pic 2 seconds before she smiled:

She's really, really good at giving me dirty looks.

-Today is my boss lady's birthday. Happy 30th, Ree Ree. :)

-Tomorrow is my 28th birthday. I'll be as old as Brandon Weeden.

-Mags ate a little too much over the holidays. Her clothes no longer fit (I feel ya sister)

-We had friends in town last week from Houston. They have a little boy who was born 7ish weeks after Mags. We put them down on the floor together and they found each other's hand! A-dor-a-ble!

-Mags wears a lot of pink.

-Here she is wearing something blue

-I recently discovered jeggings. I love them. I thought they'd be like Pajama Jeans, but they're not. They are wonderful.

-That's all. At least I blogged, right?

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @
lowercase letters

Hey, homegirls.

The only reason I'm blogging right now is because Maggie is still asleep. She went to sleep around 7:30 last night. It's 6:15am right now and she's still sleeping! Holla!

-The weather has been amazing the last few days. We took Maggie & Norman on a walk yesterady. Wish I would've taken a picture because Maggie gave me the best "go to hell" look during the whole walk. Nate Dawg would walk over to her and say something, and she'd smile. Then she'd stare back at me with this look of disgust. The next 18 years will be just awesome, I'm sure. :)

-Nate Dawg starts his new job a week from today. He's leaving for Nashville on Thursday to visit some friends. Sunday he flies into Dallas for training for the first 2 days of his new job. This Thursday when he leaves, I'm heading to Pawhuska for a few days to hang out and work out at the ranch. Lots of stuff going on out there for the next few weeks.

-My brother, Paul & his wife, Laura are coming into town next week for Thanksgiving. Very excited to see them!

-No one will tell me what they want for Christmas, so I haven't ordered any Christmas presents yet. I prefer online shopping over actually going to a store.

-Maggie May by Rod Stewart came on the radio the other day when Mags and I were in the car. Photo op.

-My computer is about to die. At least I blogged, right?

Cutest bedhead.

I swaddled the heck out of her.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

What up, homies?

I've been told I haven't blogged in a while.

Here goes nothin'

1. I'm loving that we get to stay in Oklahoma for a while longer. A few months before Miss Maggie was born, my husband found out that his company here in Tulsa was shutting down. They wanted us to move to Denver. At the time I said, "Sure, let's go." Shortly after Maggie was born, I said, "Hell to the no, I won't go." Not really, but our parents have been such a big help. They are all in love with Mags (of course) and see her at least once a week. Nate and I have gone at once a week by ourselves, which has been fantastic. If we moved to Denver, date nights would end, or we would have to pay a babysitter. Our parents babysit for free. So...Nate Dawg was offered a job with a company here in Tulsa. We are staying! yay!

2. I used to hate when people were like, "I love my kid." Of course you love your kid. Duh.
But I love the crap out of Maggie. Since she was 4 weeks old, she's been sleeping at night. Waking up every 8 hours or so. She's even had a few 10-12 hour nights. Mama like.

3. I'm kind of loving these earthquakes. Not the damage that they're doing to smalltown, Oklahoma, but it's been kinda cool to feel. I was up with Maggie when we had the first one. It scared me, but I thought it was strong wind. The next morning I told Nate Dawg. He said, "What if it was an earthquake?" I got on facebook and sure enough. Then Saturday night we were up and it really, really shook the house. Same thing Sunday night. or Monday night. I can't even remember when the last one was.

4. I'm loving that on Halloween, Maggie gave me a huge smile.

I said, "Boo!" And she gave me this look

ha!

What are you loving this week?

You go, Girl!

One month ago today, I birthed a baby.

It's hard to believe that she's one month old. But the calendar tells me she is. Unless the calendar is a liar.

Happy one month, Maggie!

And thanks for protecting her, Norman!

Fill in the Blank Friday

1. The most selfless thing I've ever done was  have a baby. Nothing is about me anymore. It's all about Maggie.

right after labor.

2. When it comes to working out usually really hardcore. I haven't been released from the doctor to workout yet, but I'm hoping to get back into the super sweaty, super driven Morgan I was. I'm guessing that won't happen though.
That is THE Billy Blanks

3. A woman should always smile. Women who don't smile look like real biotches. :)

4. I wish I could  have a spa day and then I'd feel prettier.

5. A best friend is  Brandi.
me on the left, Brandi on the right.

6. I can't get enough of  Nate Dawg.  I just love him.

7. This weekend I am getting a facial!

go to the little things we do and play along!
