34 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 34 weeks, 5 days (8 1/2 months)
Size of baby: Baby is around the size of a large cantaloupe(19-22 inches, 5.5lbs)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: up 22 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: most everything
Gender: girl
Movement: lots and lots and lots. The movement is getting lower and lower.
Sleep: this week has been tough. Not sleeping as much as I would like. There's just been a ton going on with both of my brothers in town.
What I miss: running for long periods of time/working out hardcore, beer, and sushi.
Cravings: air conditioning and cooler weather. :)
Symptoms: I'm tired. And I'm getting bigger. I'm just kind of ready for her to be here.

I don't feel like taking a picture, so here's one from last night. That's my Aunt Connie, big brother Joe Clay, and me laughing for whatever reason. You can clearly see that I swallowed a basketball.

So What Wednesday

This week I’m saying SO WHAT! if…

-When people ask me how far along I am, I say "one million months".

-I don't go outside. I mean, the high is 113 today. That's stupid. Come on now, I'm one million months pregnant...nothing outside is good for me.

-We set up the pack and play the other day. Norman pouted for a good long time. His world is about to be rocked. I feel bad for him :(

-Yes, I know my dog is a dog. But he's precious.

-I don't ever feel like blogging.

-I got up to pee at 5:15 this morning, so I thought it would be a good idea to just stay up. That was dumb.

-Babies are expensive. I'm not talking about all the stuff they come with. I'm talking about prenatal care and delivery costs.

-I'm not really sure what happened to the months of June and July. And May for that matter. I seriously don't remember what happened during those months.

-I don't like filling my car up with gas. It takes too long.

-I don't understand why people use "da" in place of "the". For example, "Going to da park." I don't get it. It just ain't right. :)

What are you saying SO WHAT! to this week?

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

Linking up with Carissa today

*We had friends from Tennessee come in this past weekend. I'm exhausted. We had so much fun and of course I didn't take any pics.

*My brother, Paul, is getting married this week. None of us are invited. And I don't blame him. He and his fiance Laura are going to Vegas to get hitched, then flying into Tulsa Thursday night. We finally get to meet the little lady. Very excited for him!

*My other brother, Joe Clay, will be flying into Tulsa August 2. He's been deployed for the past few months. yay!

*I'm ready for the 3 of us to be together again. I don't think we've been together since Christmas 2009.

*My bff Brandi will have a 1 year old this Thursday. Her daughter, Cailyn, turns 1 July 28.

Seriously, how cute is this kid?

*I had false labor for a good hour yesterday. Not cool, baby. I had this sudden urge to, uh...go to the bathroom. Brandi sent me a pic of why this was happening:

*And here's a pic of Kevin from The Office signing my baby belly

*And also one of Jason Kidd and Ray Ramano

33 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 33 weeks, 2 days (8 months)
Size of baby: Baby is around the size of a pineapple (19-22 inches, 4.9lbs)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: up 22 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: most everything
Gender: girl
Movement: lots and lots and lots. The movement is getting lower and lower.
Sleep: I'm sleeping less and less. I'm not as exhausted as I thought I would be.
What I miss: running for long periods of time/working out hardcore, beer, and sushi.
Cravings: air conditioning and cooler weather. :)
Symptoms: I don't know what was going on with me yesterday. I had a lot of pressure in my pelvis and lower back. If they were Braxton Hicks (false labor), then they were supposed to subside if I move positions. Or at least that's what the books say. I walked for over an hour while trying to get ready for my maternity shoot with Marie. It took about an hour and 10 minutes for them to go away.

Marie took these yesterday:

only Marie can make you look good when you haven't showered, had false labor for over an hour, and it was still 100 degrees outside :):):)

32 Weeks

I'm 33 weeks along now, but the pic was taken at 32 weeks, 5 days. I forgot to post this last week.

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 32 weeks, 5 days (8 months)
Size of baby: Baby is around the size of a honeydew (19 inches, 4.5lbs)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: up 22 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: most everything
Gender: girl
Movement: lots and lots and lots. The movement is getting lower and lower.
Sleep: I'm doing ok on sleep.
What I miss: running for long periods of time/working out hardcore, beer, and sushi.
Cravings: air conditioning
Symptoms: I was pretty uncomfortable while traveling last week. Plane rides weren't the best, but they weren't THAT bad. And the peeing...goodness...I either don't have to pee at all, or am about to pee my pants. There's no in between.

So What Wednesday

This week I’m saying SO WHAT if…

-I totally pimped my belly out at the Celebrity Golf Tournament last weekend. Recap coming soon.

So what if Tony Romo's wife looks super expensive? She wore a tiny dress to the golf tournament. TINY dress.

I love Kelly Ripa

Kelly Ripa

Just thought I'd mention that since I'm watching Regis and Kelly right now.

I ate this for breakfast the other morning. Ok, I ate like 5 bites. We had breakfast at Hash House a Go Go.

My breakfast had mashed potatoes in it.

Nate's hash

We couldn't even make a dent.

Fill in the Blank Friday

1. I am a (morning, evening, middle of the day person) morning person. Early to bed, early to rise, makes one healthy, wealthy, and wise.
2. My favorite Pandora stations are Simon and Garfunkel.
3. 3 of my "must-have" songs for a road trip playlist are I don't have any "must-have" songs...but late 90's early 2000's rap is great. Nate Dawg and I have a competition to see how white we can be while "rapping".

4. My favorite pattern is paisley. I used to hate it, but now I love it.
5. My favorite perfume is Marc Jacobs: Daisy or D&G: Light Blue or Escada: Into the Blue

6. Rules are usually there for a reason.
7. My most overused phrase or punctuation is literally. People use it incorrectly. "She has literally lost her head." No she hasn't. She figuratively lost her head. Get it right people.

head over to the little things we do and play along!
