31 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 31 weeks, 5 days (7 1/2 months)

Size of baby: Baby is around the size of a head of lettuce (19 inches, 3.9lbs)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: up 16 lbs. (I have another dr appointment today and I KNOW this number will go up)

Maternity Clothes: most everything

Gender: girl

Movement: lots and lots and lots. The movement is getting lower and lower.

Sleep: I'm doing ok on sleep.

What I miss: running for long periods of time/working out hardcore, beer, and sushi.

Cravings: water. I'm so thirsty all the time. And I drink a ton of water.

Symptoms: I feel like my belly has dropped. She's not kicking or punching my lungs anymore. My belly is getting lots bigger. This pic is from Tuesday, and I feel like my belly is way bigger now than it was then.

 

*The crib is put together. We do not have a mattress yet. But at least the crib is put together properly. Mostly thanks to my parents. Go us!*

 

So What Wednesday

This week I'm saying SO WHAT if:

-I deleted my blog for less than a week. Long story, but I felt like it.

-It made me happy when 3 people asked me what happened to my blog. Hi Haley! Hi Ashley! Hi Marie!

-We leave for Tahoe Friday for our babymoon. I haven't checked with my doctor to see if I can even travel right now. Whatev. There are hospitals everywhere.

That's all I've got for now. What are you saying SO WHAT to?

So What Wednesday

This week I’m saying SO WHAT! if…

*I ate half an apple pie for lunch yesterday.

*I actually CAN believe the Casey Anthony verdict. Not that I agree with it. If we were in Vegas right now, I would be a rich, rich lady.

*I think both attorneys in the case were not good. I mean, I watch enough Law and Order: SVU to know what a good attorney sounds like. And they ain't it.

So was Nicole Brown Simpson's family when your dad got OJ off. RT @KimKardashian: CASEY ANTHONY FOUND NOT GUILTY!!!! I am speechless!!!

*I'm jealous of everyone that gets to name their new baby girl Hadley. I love that name, but Nate Dawg doesn't.

*We still don't have a name for our baby.

*Her nursery is not ready.

*I have not packed for the hospital.

*I am not "prepared" for baby as some might think I need to be. But I don't care. My baby won't judge me. Right?

*I think Casey Anthony needs to cut her pony tail and donate to Locks of Love. There could be MANY wigs made of that mess of hair.

SUMMER LUVIN' SATURDAY

Norman found a turtle on our front porch.

He was barking like there was an intruder, and sure enough, we had a turtle scratching at our door.

We went to a 4th of July party (on July 2nd) and had smoked pig.

Nate finally found the hornworm that has been eating his tomato plants!

Then he made me a virgin mojito!

30 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 30 weeks, 3 days (7 1/2 months)

Size of baby: Baby is around the size of a head of lettuce (18 inches, 3.2lbs)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: up 16 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: most everything 

Gender: girl

Movement: apparently she loves to push on my hip bone as well as my rib cage. She's making herself super comfy in there.  

Sleep: I'm doing ok on sleep.

What I miss: running for long periods of time/working out hardcore, beer, and sushi.

Cravings: fruit and water.

Symptoms: I'm uncomfortable. The heat isn't helping. I can feel her taking my breath away from being under my rib cage. The doctor said that she would be moving less and less the bigger she gets, but homegirl likes to kiiiiick and streeeetttch and make my belly dance. Oh, and I can't even walk a mile anymore without just about peeing on myself.

Countdown until due date: 9 weeks, 4 days.

1. The best news I ever received was either when I found out I was pregnant, or found out we were moving back to Oklahoma

2. Something I'm looking forward to is this 3 day weekend with Nate Dawg.

3. Something I would never do is   intentionally hurt my family.

4. If I could choose someone to be my life coach (famous or not, living or dead), I'd choose Lindsay Lohan. Just kidding. I feel like I have a slew of family and friends that are my current life coaches. I choose all of them.

5. If I had to put a label on my style it would be maternity. duh

6. One should always   smile

7. I want to   get a massage. My back is sore.
